Craziest thing ever!!

On Friday a nuclear reactor caught on fire in Idaho falls. The smoke covered all of Rexburg and turned the sky a mix of purple, red, orange and yellow. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen in person! These are pics as the night progressed :)

Fourth of July

Happy (belated) 4th!!! On Saturday (the 3rd) we went down to Idaho Falls and saw a firework show. Since everyone here is Mormon, we got to celebrate the 4th on the 3rd so we could still keep the Sabbath Holy :). Also, apparently the firework show we saw is the 2nd biggest in the nation, so it was pretty legit. It was only about half an hour though... legit none-the-less. I still think Disneyland's show was better because they made shapes and stuff! :) Here are a few pics:

I (Christine) got a nanny job in Australia! I'll be leaving July 25th, right after school ends! The family I'll be working for has two little girls Olivia (4) and Bridie (9 mos), the parents' names are Nicci and Adam. They live in Belmont, NSW which is about 2 hours north of Sydney, and just south of Newcastle. I found that there's an LDS church in Charlstown which is about 5-10 min away. Also, Belmont is right on a big lake, and only a few miles from the ocean! The thing I'm really worried about though, is that I'll have to drive a stick shift there, and I don't exactly know how to (yet). And the combination of driving stickshift, and driving on the left side of the road, makes me really nervous! haha. But good news is they have a Subaru Forrester, and I love forresters :).
